Greetings Faire Goers! With sorrow in our hearts, we announce that The Kitsap Medieval Faire 2020 has been cancelled. Our 2020 core Event Team is almost 30 members and that does not include the scores of volunteers who assist at gate; behind the scenes with layout, camping, trash, and tear down; and conduct demonstrations for arts & sciences as well as the many martial activities. As COVID-19 progresses through our region we felt it necessary to cancel. Even if the risk of such a large gathering were deemed minute, the recovery from these months will take time. We want our Populace, Friends, and Neighbors to be safe and healthy, to recover and recuperate. We do not plan to reschedule for later in the 2020 event season, we will return in June, 2021! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at DragonsLaire.Seneschal@antir.org. In addition, please keep in mind that our vendors rely on events like these to support their family. We will later be posting a list of their online shops if available. Stay Healthy and Happy! Welcome to KITSAP MEDIEVAL FAIRE where all are welcomed into the Great Barony of Dragon’s Laire! Join us on a journey through the wonders of the middle ages.
Watch the most noble of fighters from all across the Known World as they display their valor on the war field or vie for the favor of the Crown and Court in the tournaments. Wander the Artisan’s Village where blacksmiths, potters, scribes, and cooks work their skills. Take part in dance, song and merriment as bards and minstrels play their jaunty tunes! Indulge in the local food vendors or parade Merchants Row where crafts, clothing and treasures are plenty! Come and experience KITSAP MEDIEVAL FAIRE! |
